Bridge:

The Penumbra had made its way back to the tiny moon where they'd detected the unusual energy frequencies and had left an Away Team to investigate. This Away Team was behind a strong containment field, where their comm signals could not get through - not even their lifesigns could be detected.

On the Bridge were Capt. Zak Taylor, sipping a fresh mug of coffee; Lt. Cmdr. Jason Carter at the Helm, still "flying by stick" against the strange density of space in that area; Lt. Tabeshk Tibris at his Operations Console, monitoring various ship's systems; Lt. T'Lin at the Primary Science Station, keeping a close watch on the radiation levels outside the ship (and any that might get through the shields); MstGny. Derek Hines manning the Tactical Console; and the ever-present Artificial Intelligence called MAX, manifesting at various stations as needed.

Carter reported, "The Slip-Drag seems to be working fairly well, Captain. I'm not getting nearly as much density from the moon." He was referring to an unusual technique of using the positively charged Polaric Radiation produced by the shields against negatively charged Tetryon particles emitted from the main deflector to form something like a warp bubble to help drag them through space. The tetyrons would "stick" to the polaric harmonics of the shields to drag a "nebula" of sorts of ordinary space into the dense area of almost fluidic space around the tiny moon.

Zak sipped his coffee and commented, "Excellent, Carter, didn't spill a drop!" He was referencing an earlier incident where the bucking ship had spilled cold coffee onto his pants leg (he'd since changed clothes in his Ready Room).

The Captain said "Hines, Tabby, let's prepare our Mind the Gap procedure." This was where they'd fire a modified torpedo into the containment field and then use dual tractor beams to pry open the hole it made long enough to get a comm signal or transporter beam through.

Carter reported, "We're at the rendezvous threshold." He paused and then asked, "Captain?"

MAX announced from one of the Recon monitors, "Thirty minutes have elapsed since we deployed the Away Team." This was a reminder of how long the Captain had given the Team before the ship would attempt another opening to either check in with them or beam them out.

Zak took one more sip of coffee. "Tabby, get ready. Hines, launch the Torp-e-Probe. T'Lin, get us a peek quickly and find our team."

They each acknowledged the commands and proceeded with their part of the procedure. The Captain placed his cup in the cup holder and scooted to the edge of his seat. "Hines, launch when ready. T'Lin, get our look. Tabby, ready Grabby Hands. Uh ...," he considered, "and we might want a transporter standing by."

Hines pressed the button and reported, "Probe away ... impact in seconds."

The Probe hit, a tiny hole formed, and a flash of communication signal came through. Patterson's voice crackled with static but was understandable, "Patterson to Penumbra. If you receive this message, we've found what we were looking for."

And then, all hell broke loose. A huge ray of intense radiation rocked the ship, five times stronger than the ones they'd endured before. Carter jerked against the sticks to try to compensate the shockwave, "I think I'm getting used to surfing explosions!"

Zak grunted, "Tabby, Grabby!"

Tabeshk said, "I'm a-grabbing!" He used his Grabby Hands to grab the hole, expanding it and keeping it open. The wave of radiation was increased accordingly, and the ship bucked and heaved against it.

The Captain glanced over his shoulder, "T'Lin, do you have our people?"

T'Lin ignored the bucking ship and focused on finding the Away Team. She said, "Searching for them, sir."

The intensity of the radiation and shockwave was taking its toll. Hines reported, "Shields down to 80% ... and fluctuating. Transferring power from weapons!"

MAX flashed into a corner of the main viewer and reminded, "The Away Team will need to be beamed into isolation for decontamination protocols."

Zak tapped his commbadge, "Bridge to Sickbay. We'll be beaming our team into decon protocols. Stand by to receive."

Dr. Shadow K'Trevala responded, "Already set up and ready to go, sir."

T'Lin announced, "I believe I have their location. Stand by for confirmation."

Carter was fighting the sticks furiously. He said, "Can't hold this position much longer!"

Hines added, "Shields down to 75% and falling! Hull integrity beginning to falter."

T'Lin opened a comm channel, "Patterson, I see your bio signs, please confirm: two teams, of 2 and 3, plus one?"

Patterson's voice came back over the comm, crackling with static but clear, "Affirm! Emergency beamout, now!"

The voice of Lt. Cmdr. Dean Spearhorse came over the comm, "Captain, we might be able to salvage this ship, if you can spare an engineering detail."

Zak turned to T'Lin, "Plus one?" He shook his head and gave a little wave, "We'll sort them out up here. Tabby, energize!"

Tabeshk nodded and said, "Beaming back Away Team in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ..., beaming!"

Zak looked at Tabeshk, "Did we get them?" He didn't wait for a response, he tapped his commbadge, "Shadow! Did we get them, Doc?"

Tabeshk answered, "Aye, we have them all."

Zak said, "Oh, and Tabby ... let go of the damn hole! Carter, get us some breathing room."

Hines said, "Shields at 60%!"

MAX flashed onto an Engineering screen and said, "Powering up the Slipstream Drive ..."

Carter said, "Coming about, 210 mark 155, full impulse!"

As the bucking faded with the closing of the hole and the distance from the tiny moon, Zak stood and said, "Carter, you have the Bridge. I'll be in Sickbay." He started towards the turbolift doors.

Tabeshk pouted, "Why Carter this time?"

T'Lin straightened from the science monitor, "As will I. I know medical science as well." She tapped her commbadge, "Shadow, I am coming down to Sickbay to assist, is there anything you need me to grab from outside Sickbay?"

Carter nodded and stood, moving to the Command chair. As the lift doors closed behind the Captain and T'Lin, he said, "MAX, engage at maximum Warp. Hold off on Slipstream for now. Get us clear, then stand down to idle."

MAX's face appeared on the Helm console as he said, "Navigation is not my intended purpose ... but ... considering our circumstances, I concur."

Carter looked over to Tabeshk, "Work on getting power to Hull Integrity. Keep Sickbay on isolation as best as possible. I'd rather us drift than lose containment."

He muttered, "Yeah, yeah, I'm on it."

Hines reported, "Shields at 62% and holding."

Carter said, "Steady, Hines, go ahead and begin bringing weapons back online."

A while later, Tabeshk remarked, "Man, the Captain's taking a while, huh?" He glanced at his board and reported, "Structural integrity back to 80%."

Carter said, "Once we get integrity up above 90%, start rerouting power to Engineering, and have them dispatch damage control teams and HAZMAT crews to the affected areas."

Hines reported, "Shields back up to 91%, I think we're stabilizing. Carter, where'd you learn that thing with the Tetryon emissions?"

Carter chuckled, "Something from flight school."

Away Team (Facility):

Lt. Col. Travis Patterson and Lt. Cmdr. Relok had been making their way through the facility they'd found on the tiny moon behind the containment field. It seemed to be some kind of industrial site, like a refinery or power plant.

They had found the burned bodies of several Borg as they made their way deeper into the facility until they'd reached some kind of central chamber. A timer went off on Patterson's ArmPADD, alerting him that his half hour was up. He tapped his commbadge, "Patterson to Hawke. What's the status on our escape route?"

Lt. Denovan Hawke, Lt. Cmdr. Dean Spearhorse, and 2nd Lt. Arrin ch'Tijaat had been exploring a damaged Borg sphere they'd found parked outside the facility, hoping it might could be used as an escape vessel, if it was flight-worthy. Hawke responded, "Working on it." The comm broke for a moment and then the signal returned as he said, "Might be able to get a signal through in a few minutes."

Spearhorse called, "I am in the sphere looking for any Borg the scanners overlooked." He paused before continuing, "The vessel is running on auxiliary power only. I am continuing my sweep but have found no one yet."

Meanwhile, Relok stood next to a large door, studying what appeared to be the access panel. Patterson looked at the Vulcan and nodded, raising his rifle, "The door, Commander."

Relok raised an eyebrow, "I will make the effort, Colonel. I'm not sure what these buttons or text actually say." Then he noticed an icon that clearly resembled a sliding door panel and said, "Unless ... it's that one ...," he pressed the button.

Suddenly, a warning klaxon sounded throughout the facility, very loud! Radiation levels skyrocketed as the door slid open. A bright light nearly blinded both Relok and Patterson, but Relok had the advantage of Vulcan inner eyelids and Patterson's Combat Armor visor immediately darkened to counteract the brightness.

Patterson still squinted against the bright light in spite of the darkened visor. He said, "Scans, Relok!"

Relok blinked, "Wow! That's bright!" He lifted his tricorder and scanned the inner chamber beyond the doors. Inside the chamber were the charred carcasses of several more Borg.

Patterson tapped his commbadge, hoping to get through as Hawke had suggested, "Patterson to Penumbra. If you receive this message, we've found what we were looking for."

Relok didn't even look up from his scanner as he said, "Colonel, there is definitely a containment breach in here. We need to get out of here immediately or our suits will be overwhelmed!" He began to stab blindly for the "Close Door" button.

Patterson stepped back but noticed the door wasn't closing. Reflexively, he raised his rifle and took a shot at the door, calling out as he did, "Fall back, Relok! Back to the rendezvous coordinates!"

Relok, being a logical Vulcan scientist, knew that his own suit would fail before Patterson's Combat Armor would. He turned and moved post-haste towards the exit, sure that the Marine would be right on his heels.

Without even waiting to see if the door was closing, Patterson wheeled to follow Relok, but quickly dropped a transponder to mark the location of the Omega particle's coordinates. As he ran behind Relok, he tapped his commbadge again, "Away Team, prepare for emergency beamout!"

Relok finally reached the outer door and once outside, turned to check for Patterson. The Colonel was only two steps behind him, rushing out the door and then spinning to shoot the access panel, hoping it would activate blast doors ... or something!

Suddenly a call came from the Penumbra, it was T'Lin. The signal was crackling with static but understandable, "Patterson, I see your bio signs, please confirm: two teams, of 2 and 3, plus one?"

Patterson didn't fully register the whole statement but tapped his commbadge, "Affirm! Emergency beamout, now!"

There was the shimmering effect that enveloped them and then ... they were in the isolation chamber of Sickbay aboard the Penumbra.

Away Team (Sphere):

Lt. Denovan Hawke had the lead on the team that entered the Borg sphere, based on his being a former Borg and having familiarity. And the fact that Lt. Cmdr. Dean Spearhorse, in spite of having rank on him, had not yet been fully released to regular duty, but was only here on "restricted duty" under the care (and supervision) of Marine Combat Medic 2nd Lt. Arrin ch'Tijaat.

Hawke had been trying to restore power through one of the many consoles when he'd encountered a surviving Borg drone. He had tried to order her to assist and "comply" but she'd refused to comply, even while assisting him in restoring power for her own reasons.

Spearhorse and Arrin were patrolling the rest of the small craft to insure there were no other Borg or threats elsewhere.

The Borg drone, who had identified herself as Nine of Twelve, glanced at Hawke (whom she considered to be an intruder but not an immediate threat), "How did you get here?" she asked. She wondered whether the same method could get her ... and them ... back out.

Suddenly, a call came from Patterson, "Patterson to Hawke. What's the status on our escape route?"

Hawke answered, "Working on it." He closed the comm as he turned back to Nine, "Help me work on this relay to get a tight signal for the ship to lock on to all of our bio-signatures please. We can use the quantum-flux-singularity manifold."

She studied him a moment and then said, "We will comply." She moved over next to him and began to assist. She wanted off this rock for her own reasons to get back to the Collective. She unlocked the console and began working with the human to acquire a tight signal to his ship.

Hawke spoke to her without looking at her, "You can drop the act by the way, I was messing with you. Let's just get this done so we can get out of here." He tapped his commbadge calling the Colonel, "Might be able get a signal through in a few minutes."

In another part of the sphere, Spearhorse called Patterson as he made his patrol, "I am in the sphere looking for any Borg the scanners overlooked." He paused before continuing, "The vessel is running on auxiliary power only. I am continuing my sweep but have found no one yet."

Nine ignored Hawke and instead looked up, sensing another person entering the sphere, "You're here to investigate the energy particles aren't you?"

Spearhorse had returned and asked everyone in the room, "What do we know about this signal? How old is it?" He was concerned about the repeating distress signal he was picking up.

Hawke answered Nine's question, "We're here because he picked up your signal." He didn't want to reveal any more than necessary, to the Borg or even to Spearhorse, who hadn't been in the Omega Directive briefing.

Nine asked, "Because you picked up the Borg distress signal? I think not. You are here under your Omega Directive because there were Omega particle signatures on this moon. It is why this ship came here." She said all this matter-of-factly as she continued to work.

Hawke chose not to answer that and instead noticed they'd opened a small window for comm traffic. He said, "Okay, a window is open ... and it's not good." He noticed it allowed radiation out of the containment field. He said, "Send the signal!"

Just as they did, they heard Patterson call, "Away Team, prepare for emergency beamout!"

Spearhorse found a unit that appeared to be the source of the distress signal the sphere had been repeating. He pressed a button and flipped a switching, hoping he'd turned the damned thing off.

Hawke quickly started removing as many isolinear computer core rods as he could collect. Nine merely stood there and allowed him to do so, thinking she could simply take them back before she left them to rejoin the Collective.

Then they heard Patterson's call over the open comm, "Affirm! Emergency beamout, now!"

Spearhorse called quickly before they lost the signal, "Captain, we might be able to salvage this ship, if you can spare an engineering detail."

And the four of them, Hawke, Spearhorse, Arrin, and Nine of Twelve, were engulfed in the shimmer of a transporter beam and soon found themselves in the isolation ward of the Sickbay on the Penumbra.

Main Engineering:

Down in Main Engineering, Lt. Cmdr. Bevin MacArdry was monitoring the increased radiation levels building against the shields as the ship rode Carter's slip drag back to the tiny moon. She adjusted a few settings to ensure the shields had a smooth flow of power.

She was following the developments on the Bridge through a monitor on the "Pool Table" in Main Engineering, and was ready when the Torp-e-Probe punched its hole and the Grabby Hands held it open. But she wasn't ready for the intensity of the radiation this time around. It was fully five times more powerful than any other wave they'd experienced here.

The ship bucked and heaved and shields dropped to 80% in seconds. She scrambled to increase power to inertial dampeners to help against the bucking while also finding power for reinforcing the shields.

And then she saw power to the Transporter and hoped they'd retrieved their team. The warp drive kicked in and finally the ship stopped heaving. She wiped sweat from her brow and started the efforts to rebuild the shields from their low of 60%.

Sickbay:

Dr. Shadow Wind K'Trevala was in Sickbay, preparing for any sort of emergency he could anticipate when the Penumbra punched their hole in the containment field. Sensors connected to the medical systems sounded alarms as a huge radiation spike washed over the ship and the whole ship started to buck and heave against its shockwave.

In spite of the lingering effects of the Merasha reducing his psychic perceptions, Shadow still picked up on the need to prepare antiradiation boosters for personnel in the outermost levels of the ship. As he finished his preparations, a call came from the Captain, "Bridge to Sickbay. We'll be beaming our team into decon protocols. Stand by to receive."

Shadow tapped his commbadge to answer, "Already set up and ready to go, sir."

He moved to the isolation ward and activated the force field to begin docontamination routines. Seconds later, the telltale shimmer of a transporter beam had six people materializing in the ward: Lt. Col. Travis Patterson, Lt. Cmdr. Relok, Lt. Cmdr. Dean Spearhorse, Lt. Denovan Hawke, 2ndLt. Arrin ch'Tijaat, and ... an unknown Borg!

The Captain's voice came over the commlink, "Shadow! Did we get them, Doc?"

Shadow answered, "Aye, we have them all!"

Patterson and Arrin quickly depolarized their Marine Combat Armor. Patterson removed his helmet and tossed it aside, taking a huge gasp of air as he did so.

Relok, Spearhorse, and Hawke were wearing standard Starfleet EVA suits. Spearhorse and Hawke removed their helmets normally, and Spearhorse blinked, somewhat confused, "Why were we pulled out?"

Patterson turned to Spearhorse, "Dean ... we had a 30-minute threshold. Time expired." Then he noticed the Borg drone and immediately raised his rifle in one hand tapping his commbadge with the other, "Security to Sickbay!"

The Borg, Nine of Twelve, was secretly thankful to be off the frozen moon after a year being stranded there all alone, cut off from the Collective. She planned to leave as soon as she could find a shuttle. And she cared nothing for any decontamination protocols.

Hawke adapted quickly to the new location since he'd been standing up and was prepared for the transport. But as he saw Patterson raise his rifle to the Borg, he put a hand up, "Whoa, whoa! It's okay, don't shoot her!"

Then suddenly, Relok collapsed to the floor! He struggled with his helmet, and Shadow, sensing his Shayana's distress, dropped to the floor and helped him with the helmet. Even with his abilities diminished by the residual Merasha still in his system, he could tell, Relok was suffering radiation poisoning.

Just as Relok got the helmet off, he emptied his stomach onto the floor. Shadow grabbed two vials from his readied medicines and dialed one into a hypospray to counter the radiation poisoning. He injected it quickly and then swapped in an antiemetic for the nausea.

Patterson kept his rifle locked onto the Borg. "Shadow, get Relok onto a biobed. Arrin, help him out." He paused then said, "Hawke, you got 10 seconds to convince me not to shoot."

Relok struggled to speak, "No ... biobed ... decon ... protocol. Must ... wait."

Spearhorse finally noticed the Borg among them. He said, "Stand down, drones only attack when provoked."

Nine of Twelve arched her mechanical brow at the weapon aimed at her, then looked to the man that had first told him to stop, unsure why he'd done so. Then she simply turned towards the exit, intent on leaving. She flat-out ignored Spearhorse. But, she encountered a force field defining the isolation ward for decontamination protocols. She pressed a hand against it.

Hawke was about to try to explain to Patterson, but instead turned to the Borg. "Stop," he said. "Sit down."

Nine only stopped because of the forcefield. Apparently, her ability to move through them wasn't working at the moment. She looked to Hawke, still arching that brow. "We are Borg. We are leaving. We will not comply this time."

Meanwhile, Shadow lifted Relok and helped get him to a biobed. He said, "Relok, we're in the isolation ward and there are biobeds in here, so don't worry about it."

As they reached the bed, Relok vomited again, but this time had less control. He got it all over himself and Shadow. "Ugh," he said, "sorry."

Shadow didn't miss a beat. "It happens, don't worry about it." His commbadge chirped, it was T'Lin.

She said, "Shadow, I am coming down to Sickbay to assist, is there anything you need me to grab from outside Sickbay?"

He responded, "Some candied ginger root from the galley."

She answered, "Got it, candied ginger root."

Relok laid back onto the bed. His voice was weak and ragged, "Shayana ... the radiation levels were ... well beyond lethal levels ... I ...," he trailed off.

Shadow patted his shoulder, "Easy, Relok. I fully can imagine right now. You need to rest and let the decon process keep on doing is job."

Relok began fading but muttered, "Omega ... particle reaction ... containment breach ... Borg ...," then he fell into unconsciousness.

Spearhorse studied the Borg, then finally lowered his weapon from the sweeper position. He asked her, "Can you tell me who you are?"

The Borg straightened and turned to him. "Nine of Twelve, Primary Adjunct of Unimatrix 01." She turned back to the forcefield, wondering if she could walk through it or not.

Hawke stepped up behind her and said, "You don't remember who I am. We are not Borg, and neither are you." He motioned to Patterson to go ahead and restrain her.

Nine shook her head. She had no clue who this man was, nor did she want to find out right now. She was Borg.

Patterson glanced at Hawke. He lifted his WAR rifle slightly, reminding Hawke of the weapon he was using. Those things did not have a stun setting. He lowered his aim towards the Borg's legs. If he had to, he'd blow out her leg, that would put her down.

Hawke shrugged slightly. "I think that's my sister. It's a long story."

Nine turned just then, and found Patterson aiming for her leg. She gave Patterson a look that said she was ready to defend herself if necessary.

Patterson addressed the drone. "You are Borg. State your designation."

Nine blinked, strangely irritated at the request. She said, "Again? Nine of Twelve, Primary Adjunct of Unimatrix 01."

Hawke explained, "We went over this on the ship, Colonel."

Patterson turned and gave Hawke a nod, "I wasn't on that ship."

At the biobed, Shadow was doing what he could to get Relok cleaned up and eased into a more comfortable position on the biobed. He looked up as the Sickbay doors slid open and the Captain and T'Lin arrived.

T'Lin held up a bag and said, "Shadow, I have gotten the candied ginger root you asked for. What do you need me to do?"

Shadow pointed to one side, "Send it through the bypass door, and keep watch on the radiation levels in here."

She moved to the bypass door and inserted the package and then stepped over to a monitor and pulled up the radiation levels.

Patterson continued addressing the drone. "Nine of Twelve, you will comply. Resistance is futile. Your life, as it has been, is over. From now on, you will adapt to adhere to our commands."

The Captain watched T'Lin speak with Shadow through the force field. He noticed Relok lying unconscious on the biobed. He stepped forward and then finally noticed the Borg, with Patterson still aiming a rifle at its leg. Zak spoke, "Whoa! Um, Patterson, did you bring home a stray?"

Hawke turned to the Captain, "Technically, I did, Captain."

Nine of Twelve felt her teeth grind together as she glared at Patterson. Everything she had ever known was on a Borg ship. This world was alien to her, and they expected her to just comply? She turned to look to the new voice, the Captain, and said, "We are Borg. Release us so that we might return to our Collective."

Spearhorse spoke, "Nine, I personally don't want to hurt you. We received your distress call."

She turned slightly to Spearhorse. "Then let us go home! Our family is and always has been the Collective. Keeping us here would hurt us."

Spearhorse asked, "Do you recall a time before you were Borg? Even in your dreams?"

Patterson interrupted, "The Collective abandoned you because they no longer desire your consciousness within their Collective. You are obsolete. Sit down. You must comply."

Nine just turned away, rejecting his words. She resolved that she would return home, and she knew they'd welcome her back ... they had to! That life was all she had known.

Shadow looked up from where he worked on Relok. "Nine, don't knock Humanity without giving it a try. Yes, you are Borg NOW, but the Borg adapt! Or are you so obsolete that there is no more capability to adapt in you?"

The Captain said, "First things first, she's not broadcasting to the Collective, I hope. Second ... why did we bring a Drone aboard my ship?"

At the mention of broadcasting to the Collective, Nine stopped and tried again to activate her beacon, but found that apparently it had been damaged by the radiation when the explosion had damaged her ship, killed the other members of her crew, and damaged many of her other components. She was actually lucky that most of her primary ones were still functioning.

Nine didn't speak, merely shook her head. She couldn't even remember being assimilated. In all of her memories, she was Borg.

Spearhorse glanced at Patterson and muttered, "This might be harder than I thought."

Patterson glanced to his right and noticed a hypospray on a tray nearby. He couldn't be sure, but believed it held an anesthetic since it was on a trauma tray with emergency surgery implements. He grabbed it and administered it to the unaware Borg drone, saying as he did so, "Sweet dreams!"

Nine's reflexes weren't as fast as they might have once been. She turned to face Patterson only after the hypo was administered. A look of betrayal showed on her face after having helped them on her sphere, and then she collapsed to the floor.

As Nine dropped to the floor, Hawke said, "I remember someone similar to her in Unimatrix Zero, and I swear that we figured out she's my baby sister."

Patterson turned to Shadow, "Dr. K'Trevala, remove as many implants as you can from this Drone. Keep her sedated."

Shadow scooped Nine up and placed her on a biobed. He gently stroked her forehead and responded to Patterson's orders, "I'll do all I can."

Patterson turned back to Hawke, "Lieutenant Hawke, you and I have a lot to discuss, don't we?"

Hawke nodded at Patterson's orders, "Aye, sir."

Patterson turned to Spearhorse, "Spearhorse, deconn, and report to the Bridge to relieve Hines."

Spearhawke said, "Let me know when she wakes up, please."

It was Patterson who responded. "Will do, Dean. And, Commander ... good work."

The Captain stood silently as Patterson dispensed orders and then said, "Yes, I think we both need to have a nice conversation with Lt. Hawke. Patterson, Hawke, my Ready Room as soon as Doc clears you from deconn." He turned on his heel and stalked out of Sickbay.

Patterson nodded, "Yes, sir." He turned and gave Hawke a glare.

Hawke said, "Oh, I have all the core rods that I could get out from the sphere ...," he trailed off as the Captain left and Patterson stepped off to do his own decontamination procedures.

Nurse Emily Rose Thompson entered the isolation ward to assist with the deconn and to help Dr. K'Trevala in assessing the Borg's implants. She asked, "Do you think she'll be okay with the removal of her Borg implants?"

Hawke assisted in getting Nine in a more comfortable position on the bed. He addressed the nurse, "Not all of them will be removable ... just like mine."

Emily nodded then said, "She won't be happy, but ... we'll do what we can."

Across the isolation ward, Patterson began decontaminating his Combat Armor. As he did so, he addressed a computer console and said, "Computer, pull up all information regarding the last name 'Hawke' with reference to conflicts with the Borg, and transfer all results to my quarters."

The Computer trilled and then said, "Processing."
